Seems like an everyday term that needs some everyday glosses.

Compare with 回復:
recovery (from an illness); recuperation; convalescence

Unlike 回復, 病み上がり commonly takes で "I'm (still) recovering", or works directly as an adjective. The "ongoingness" seems grammatically baked in.

[adj-no] seems like a reasonable fiction. eijiro lists it, and the full ngram list has a lot of human targets, starting with

  Comments:
The word "empty" does not appear in eijiro's glosses, this seems to me like an inclusion of an unmarked [lit] gloss. This is JAPN101 material, everyone should know this anyway...

I agree with eijiro on "get" vs "become". Compare google of:

"He became hungry" site:x.com
"He got hungry" site:x.com

"I'm getting hungry" site:x.com (infinity hits)
"I'm becoming hungry" site:x.com (two hits)

English has "on an empty stomach", but there's no special relation between that idiom this [exp].

In case you object, I won't rush ahead and change all the entries myself, but I'd recommend changing:
腹が減る to become hungry -> to get hungry
お腹が減る to become hungry -> to get hungry
腹が空く to become hungry; to get an empty stomach -> to get hungry
小腹が空く to become a little hungry; to become a bit peckish -> to get a little hungry; to get a bit peckish

I looked up the dogs we have in wikipedia, went to the Japanese xrefs, and 野生犬 did not appear, except in the reference section to a book on wild dogs. Seems like a misunderstanding to have ever associated this with specific breeds.

Katakana seems common in book titles. In addition to the ref, 世界の野生イヌ, "Wild dogs of the world" , オオカミと野生のイヌ "Wolves and wild dogs".

I can't find the 2005 original, but it's clear that the jackal mentions were examples rather than the actual meaning.
Not sure the XXジャッカル terms are worth an entry.

Humans are possible, but usage is more frequently non-human. My "e.g." on "through" is an attempt to make it clear that humans are valid here.

"using as an intermediary" as the first gloss made this look like a human intermediary was needed, especially when readers are likely to know 紹介, and 介する mostly does need humans. "through" did not disambiguate, as it seemed subordinate to the first gloss.

Strong authentication is a notion with several definitions.

(This article has multiple issues. Please help improve it)

Parallel-ish translation(different versions of a related manual):
English:
https://docs.oracle.com/en/database/oracle/oracle-database/19/dbseg/introduction-to-strong-authentication.html
Japanese
https://docs.oracle.com/cd/G11854_01/dbseg/introduction-to-strong-authentication.html

A definition, but I don't think a definitive definition. Published in 2005

厳密認証
 公開鍵暗号システムを使用した署名である認証方式です。
  Comments:
This is some nonspecific technical jargon used by principally by Oracle, Fujitsu, and maybe some other software packages way back.

厳密認証 appears in ~5 books from ~1998 to ~2005.

厳密認証 is not well defined in Japanese, and "strong authentication" is not well defined in English, and would probably be translated some other way today(see reverso). While Oracle specifically used this translation in their Japanese localization, glossing as "strong authentication" provides no guidance as to the meaning of the term, while masking more appropriate translations of "strong authentication".

  Comments:
Just came for the apparent typo after finding 呵 in 啖呵. Any chance this was either an error in transcription, or in the 70-year-old dictionary itself? 呵->阿. 阿片 is the main アヘン entry, and there are zero book results for "呵片剤" or "呵片劑". Likelihood of a wild encounter seems quite small.

Really tempted to shoot for [rare] here. Seems you should just use アヘン, or オピオイド if you wish to include synthetics. But アヘン剤 is A+B, so a Japanese reader will obviously still understand.

『彼女や友人がいないのは別に悪い事じゃない。友人の数や恋人の有る無しで人の価値は計れない。あとヒキニートは止めろクソビッチ。引き篭もりとニートを足すな、俺はまだ十六歳だ。世間で言えばまだニート呼ばわりされる年じゃない。……あそこか』

This is used in a bunch of other otaku garbage as well, e.g. 魔王の娘は世界最強だけどヒキニート! I'm afraid I have no idea if real books use it because I don't read them

ここでは、「逆転劇」と言う表現に
dramatic turnabout (劇的な方向転換・逆転) を使います。ほかにも
complete reversal (完全な逆転・どんでん返し) でも表現できます。
スポーツ紙の見出しで comeback とあったら、「逆転勝利」についての記事ということが分かります。

例えば、「日本はワールドカップ史上最大の大逆転劇を演じた。」は英語で[Japan pulled off the biggest comeback in World Cup history.]なんて言える訳ですね。

  Comments:
Really "comeback" alone may be sufficient. I don't really have any context for the other glosses beyond the fnn.jp article.

I haven't found any evidence that 劇 here is referencing a literal genre of film/theatre, unlike many other *劇 entries, although that may be the origin.

Lots of sports hits in the news, often as 大逆転劇. For this, 逆転劇 "comeback" and 大逆転劇 ("huge comeback") do the job. Subtle nuance difference with the more-common 逆転勝利 I suppose.

中国語の"男团"、"女团"は、日本語に翻訳すると "男性グループ"、"女性グループ"となります。
ちなみに、"团"は、日本語では使わない漢字です。
