| Comments: | Thanks for your draft revisions to the 六書 entries, Sergey. I'm going to do my own version(s). I'll use this as the master, and reopen it. I'll lock in the others to avoid clutter. The entry for 六書 (https://www.edrdg.org/jmwsgi/entr.py?svc=jmdict&sid=&q=1561420) has xrefs to all six of these.) Some comments: - it's not really "linguistics". - I'm making the ref to the 六書 a note. - as I wrote in 2018, I don't think these are "compounds". - I have a rather old WWW page explaining these: https://www.edrdg.org/~jwb/mondir/kanjitypes.html |

| Comments: | It's not a usage notein this case, but that field is also used for more general information about the sense. As stated in the definition of the field: "The sense-information elements provide for additional information to be recorded about a sense. Typical usage would be to indicate such things as level of currency of a sense, the regional variations, etc." In the case of these six 六書 entries, I think it's appropriate that their membership of that class is stated explicitly, and the <s_inf> element is a good place to have it. I'll reinstate it, and reopen for a while. Yes, two-way xrefs are propbably appropriate here. |

| Comments: | I agree with anonさん, that's not a usage note. A simple solution to omitting the "one of the six classes of Chinese characters" would be to have each of the six also xref back to 六書. In that way it's clear to the user without too much text in the [expl] gloss. Though having it in the [expl] also seemed fine to me. |

| Comments: | My JMdict parser alerts me when cross-references are made to hidden forms. So when a form like へたの横好き got the [sK] tag added to it, I knew to go update the reference in the 横好き entry to point to "下手の横好き" instead. I could add a whitelist to my parser to silence the alerts for entries that don't need attention, but the idea leaves a somewhat bad taste in my mouth. Right now there aren't any x-refs to search-only forms in JMdict. I think having a "usually kana" tag and a "usually コミ" note on the same sense is mostly redundant and a bit distracting anyway. |

Most commonly this is attached by a shaft to a remote beater mechanism alongside the primary pedal mechanism. One notable exception to this pattern is the symmetrical Sleishman twin bass drum pedal.
