how about this ? I covered all 3 senses from 大辞泉 and we have it all in 1 sense.

「里帰り」も現在では本来の意味通りではなく、広く一般に「実家に帰ること」として使われているのも事実。男性が「里帰り」を使っているからといって、わざわざ揚げ足を取るのも野暮なことでしょう。
