I preferred it the way it was, but if we want a single gloss, probably "mochi (sticky rice cake)" would be better.

I searched some more and it seems that while most kokugos do not recognise this as its own word and just as the inflection of た, I could find two that have it listed as a conjunctive particle (接助) born from the former.
My mistake, I should have looked at more references.

Unrelated to the above, might we add だら to readings? I have added the note to clarify that だら only applies to sense 1.

[1] Is not a particle, it is the 未然形 of た and [2]-[5] are held to be from と言ったら; I have removed the particle tag on 1.
Given that [2]-[5] are technically a separate word, perhaps they should be split for consistency, but it probably causes no harm to leave it like this.

I preferred it the way it was. On reflection, I don't think the second gloss was needed. I don't think it's really a noun.

As a place name, アマゾン is usually followed by 川, 熱帯雨林, etc. Since we have "Amazon (river, rainforest)" in jmdict, I think the [place] sense can be dropped.
I don't think the [myth] sense is needed here. The Amazons were a race of warriors. It isn't a personal name.

Google exists as a subsidiary of Alphabet. It's still a company.

Replacing the JMdict one. I'm suggesting [product] as the company is now "Alphabet".
      I'll approve and reopen.

OK. I've added [spec1] to about 100 ~大学 entries. Some were probably ones where we'd removed them, but I wasn't going to check them "by hand".
I'll leave this open for a bit.

I can't find the file from that 2021 update. It's a bit hard to identify the ~大学 cases without [spec1]. I've done quite a few by hand.

A few dozen of the -大学 entries Nicolas added in 2021 don't have a spec1 tag. Can we use the bulk updater to tag them all in one go?
