Do you have a source for that? The kokugos disagree. As do I actually, if somebody asks me 炭酸を飲む？ at dinner, I know they're asking if I want soda water, not coke or something similar.

GG5 does have this sentence: ►俺, 炭酸だめなんだよ.　I can't drink ┏carbonated beverages [fizzy drinks].
but I think this is just sense 1, a more literal translation would be "I don't like carbonic acid" and it's understood from context the speaker is talking about drinks.

Comments on 卑語[2].  Marked 卑語[2] as [obs] because I don't think it is usable with the sense given here. Not sure if this is [obs], [rare], [dated].   IME won't even build this word(either kanji). The reason that ngrams for 鄙言 beat 卑言 would seem to be that this term has fallen into almost complete disuse.  Google results suggests it is principally vocab trivia.

"language used in rural areas" is wordy, but this is not a term for anyone to use in practice either.  Better that if someone search "vulgar" they don't think to use this.　Given that this is rare and dated, given the kokugo definition "slang" seems out of place. 

jlogos has "スラング" as 類語 on 卑語 for sense [1], but we don't have "slang" there (nor do I think we should).

Before the split, there was a reading restriction on ふうふ which tied it exclusively to 夫婦.

smk does say that ついたち can be used adverbially
一日/いっぴ is only used for sense 1, esp. in a business context (sankoku example, meikyo, shinkoku)
朔日/さくじつ is only used for sense 1, daijr, kanken, iwakoku specify 陰暦 (daijrs also kinda implies this by saying "朔月。「卯月朔日」") but not for ついたち - i also suspect it's more dated/formal as most refs redirect to ついたち and shinkoku tags it as 文
even if the archaic second sense is removed, it feels to me that splitting out the readings would make for better and more complete entries

i believe sentence #209505 was actually meant for １日/いちにち instead of this entry, but the reading or entry id wasn't specified
the audio link in wwwjdic contains "kana=ついたち&kanji=１日" which means it was probably meant for ついたち so if my proposal is accepted ついたち should remain in this 2311109 entry
