Hi, "伯父 or 叔父 can mean older or younger than one's parent" seems rather ambiguous to me. The way I understand it from elsewhere is that 伯 is for older and 叔 is for younger, but I don't think the definition currently explains this very clearly. I don't think it's correct to say there are two senses here.
"Slander", "libel", etc. are for the benefit of English learners who might be using そしり in more specific context.

I'm in favour of dropping the sense 2 glosses entirely.
I have a paper JE dictionary (designed for English speakers) on hand and "criticism", "censure" and "blame" are the only glosses listed. Same with prog.

This has been open for over a month. I'm suggesting a sense break, as I previously suggested.
