The note was really intended for わたし,
not わたくし (I wouldn't call わたくし
"_slightly_ formal"). The references were
all about わたし.
10. A* 2019-12-13 22:39:20  Jim Breen <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
My first thought was "no way" as I was taught that わたし and わたくし were essentially the same. But I agree that the politeness, and slightly feminine nuance, not to mention the later senses, make it an uncomfortable combination. I've proposed a split.

Aside: I first heard わたくし spoken in 1982 when we took my elder daughter (then 10) to a Girls Scouts meeting in Nagano-ken. They had a formal "promise" recital which included use of わたくし. I've also heard it used by males in formal speeches.

No change to the above.
With reference to the link as follows:-

おっかけて (etc.) See: 追っ掛ける

I was searching for "おっかけて" and I got the above, but I have a note that Nelson gives the meaning for this as "meanwhile", but naturally it could be linked to the other meaning as well.

Much in same way as your dealing with the "追って" link and also the following:-

追って; 追而 【おって】 (adv, conj) (1) (追って only) later on; shortly; presently; afterwards; in due course; by and by; (2) P.S.
