Comments: | The current definition says: 旁 【つくり】 - right half of a character when the left half is its radical. The part "when the left half is its radical" is false and should be omitted. 旁 is simply the antonym of 偏. While 偏 refers to the group of kanji that their radical is on the left hand side, 旁 is the group of all right hand radical kanji. |

Comments: | According to my reading of daijisen, the meanings are different. →こわいい(強飯) Might not be true for other dictionaries. |

Comments: | First result when googling the term reveals it, came across the wording when reading the Sekai-ichi Hatsukoi manga volume 3, lot of expressions in there that aren't in the dictionary, or don't have the proper nuance in the English translation. Very good dictionary though, that's why I'm adding to it :) |
