Comments: | The chiebukuro ref discusses the pipe-cleaner sense. The Weblio site quotes the 新和英中辞典 "パイプのモル a pipe cleaner". My EB edition has that too, but the KOD doesn't. (I was gong to put in the lace sense too, but Rene has put it in another entry. |

Comments: | Addition of "pipe cleaner" definition: I found a couple internet references for pipe cleaners (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pipe_cleaner), but my real reference is my Japanese coworker (I'm currently working in Japan). I had to ask for the word about four times because I kept forgetting, so I wanted to add the definition into the dictionary for my sake as well as other users. |
