i think there ~may~ be a difference here: the difference between 'admiration' and 'praise' in english (i.e., the former is a private emotion, the latter is a public action; they're not the same).  koj, daijs, gg5, meikyo all support this division; daijr does not (it adds ほめる to the definition of 三嘆).  also, a legitimate definition was removed from 三嘆.

I saw this entry and wondered what "rambuctious" means so I 
looked it up at dictionary.com, thefreedictionary.com and in 
my English-Swedish dictionary and couldn't find the word 
anywhere but the word "rambunctious" was suggested for me 
instead. I did not know what the word "rambunctious" meant 
either but it seems to fit the other descriptions of 暴れん坊 
pretty well so I assume rambuctious is a typo for 
rambunctious.

interjection used to strengthen expression of an emotion (often exasperation).  although i don't think "that's really..." gets the point across well
