Just to follow up on Rene’s comment (previous suggestion had been “venture-backed company” and “start-up company”): I do have relevant business knowledge and experience in this area, and the standard American English term for this is emphatically “start-up company/startup company”.

The 和英 dictionaries that translate it as “venture” are hewing too closely to the Japanese – in American English (both business-speak and everyday speech), “venture” generally refers to the *capital*, not to the small company.

On second thought, the proper reading must be いれ (from 電源を入れる) but even native speakers are confused (as shown in the reference), and いり seems to be the preferred reading, even if it’s probably formally incorrect.

this is simply application of the suffix ~側 to 学校 (meaning "on the part of the school", "from the standpoint of the school", etc.)  it doesn't correspond to the suggested english glosses, and AFAICT there's no idiomatic english translation for this.  as such, i don't think it can/should be included
