What's the source for "named after the Doria family" note and sense 2? I checked both links, no mention of the
etymology, and only 1 sense in brit, daijs, daijr, nikk. I don't think there's a green-white-red casserole dish
called ドリア in Japan, even if that might have existed once in Paris.
I suggest removing both the note and sense 2.

18. A* 2022-08-30 12:21:14  Marcus Richert <...address hidden...>

MW "a Japanese wooden clog for outdoor wear"
RH "a traditional Japanese wooden clog that is worn outdoors, with a thong that passes between the first two toes and with two transverse supports on the bottom of the sole."
collins: "a type of Japanese wooden sandal"
enwiki: "Geta (下駄) (pl. geta)[1] are traditional Japanese footwear resembling flip-flops. A kind of sandal, geta have a flat wooden base elevated with up to three (though commonly two) "teeth", held on the foot with a fabric thong, which keeps the foot raised above the ground."
  Comments:
It's interesting to see how different dictionaries define it.
I guess I'm OK with sandal,, but maybe we could provide more details, like the 英英 dictionaries do?
17. A* 2022-08-30 02:50:21  Jim Breen <...address hidden...>
  Refs:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clog
  Comments:
I see that the definition of "clog" is something like "footwear usually with wooden soles" (WN), so geta fits with that. The JEs tend to have both, e.g. GG5 has "a Japanese wooden 「clog [sandal]". To me, a clog typically has a closed body, at least at the front, so I'm more comfortable with the current gloss. We could add "or clog".
16. A* 2022-08-30 01:48:51  Marcus Richert
  Comments:
Is "wooden sandals" really better than "clogs"? When I think of geta, I immediately "hear" the sound they make, which is very similar to that of clogs. I'm not sure at all what a wooden sandal would sound like when used. I don't know if this is a weird way of thinking of it, but I do think geta are much closer to clogs than sandals also in structure

i think this is more likely to be なかつぎ than ちゅうけい then, if those are the only refs. i've added an entry for 中継ぎ人[なかつぎにん]. 仲継 could be added as iK forms to なかつぎ, なかつぎにん and なかつぎぼうえき
2. D* 2011-10-13 13:41:48  Jim Breen <...address hidden...>

I can find no evidence of it being used instead of 中継.

That said, Readers-plus and The KK Business dictionary have:
- 仲継人 jobber
- 中継(ちゆうけい)貿易 / 仲継(なかつぎ)貿易 entrepot trade
so obviously 仲継 means something.

  Comments:
Indeed. I think it's quite appropriate here. ハメる is a vulgar word in this context.
14. A* 2023-01-16 19:38:06  Jim Breen <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
I don't agree. The word "fuck" is indeed vulgar but I think it's OK to use such words in the appropriate contexts. I see it's used in over 30 entries.
13. A* 2023-01-16 15:21:37  Akemi Orlando <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
in definition 6, the "to #*ck" part should be deleted; it is vulgar to use in English. You could say intercourse if wanted, but "to have sex" is clear enough.

I disagree with this edit. The term
includes POV pornography perhaps but also
secretly filming sex (i.e. revenge porn
etx.) whixh becomes obvious if you sewrch
for the term.

  Comments:
Your amendment adds the clarity required by my request; especially as it is followed by an example sentence in the search result, namely: "1000円札をくずしていただけませんか。 Could you break a 1,000 yen note?"; which sentence generally provides a reasonable match for the text which I was reading. I had somewhat anticipated that had I made a new submisstion based upon "お金を崩す", it would have been rejected.
4. D* 2013-09-22 19:05:22  Rene Malenfant <...address hidden...>
  Comments:
1) i don't believe this is nagoya-ben, and the sense of 'breaking money' is already addressed in the entry for こわす. this is not idiomatic, as こわす can also be used with other terms, for example, kojien has: 1万円札をこわす.
2) regarding the proposed entry for お金を崩す (which should have been submitted as a new entry, not a comment here), i do not see the need. it is standard use of くずす. to make this clear, i have split the senses in that entry
3. A* 2013-09-22 12:47:00  Francis
  Refs:
See below.
  Comments:
In various text, I see "お金を崩す" is also used for the same purpose as the above. The above gets many millions in Google hits. However, "お金を崩す" also gets the odd few million hits so maybe you would consider a separate entry with a cross reference back to the above. I guess that it would not be possible to combine two entries into one.

splitting ぴたりと out of ぴたっと, because it can be used without the と

googling for "仲継人" (with an added の to get rid of chinese false positives) gives me 10 hits. i guess it depends on the cutoff for iK to be included. the fact that it's in a ref means it may be worth adding regardless

What about adding 仲継人 as an "iK"? Or is that ref simply a typo.
