Thanks for that information, Jim. Meikyo actually has this "separate delivery" 
sense: 料金・品物などを別に納めること。

Not really such a "bummer". The translation was only a one-liner, so there was 
not a lot of context to go on, and as crowd-sourced translators, we are 
anonymous to the client. Anyway, I learned something, and best of all, I was 
able to add to EDICT a definition that isn't in the commercial JE dicts ;-)

Bummer. Daijr seems to be suggesting that too, but the JEs are all silent.

This is another case where the client complained that I got the 
translation wrong. Here is what he wrote:
別納の意味合いが支払を分けるという意味ではなく、納品が分かれるという意味です。
4/15に第1便の納品があり、＃1178のみ5/10に納品日がずれるという意味合いでお願いします。
