I could go either way. I see Daijirin has an entry for ゐ (五十音図ワ行第二段の仮名。現在は「い」と発音上区別がなく、現代仮名遣いではこの仮名を用いない。しかし、歴史的仮名遣いでは「い」と区別して用いる。)
Does anyone else have a keep/zap view for these old kana entries? If we keep them, what POS? |

This is a character, not a noun. Besides, why does this entry even exist? Whether you decide to change it or delete it, there's also ヱゐヰ to do something about. Funnily, katakana ones are marked as "archaic" while hiragana ones as "obsolete", so there's that as well. |
