I think -ト should be hidden, that's what I've done for the other 20-ish entries with ベッド in them. Setting up restrictions for all of them seems like unnecessary work. Splitting all of them into 2 entries, as well. |

In that case, I think it's useful to have the corresponding reading tagged as irregular as well. |

Probably best to revert to the old restrictions and keep it as the one entry. |

With にだんベット hidden, 二段ベット needs to be hidden as well. Otherwise the reading is wrong. If we want it to be visible, I think it should be a separate entry. |

Both forms get a ton of hits on twitter.

The German connection is from daijirin, although none of the other refs mention it. The quoted pixiv entry hints at some possible Dutch influence.
I think the irregular tag might be too strong considering how common the form is and how many sources acknowledge it. Probably not a big deal either way. |

I think Marcus is correct. The reading can be hidden. |

I don't think the pronunciation of ド as ト has anything to do with the German but is the same phenomenon that leads バッグ to be pronounced バック, ドラッグ as ドラック, ゴッド as ゴット (incidentally Gott in German) etc.
I think it should probably keep the ik? But should at the very least not be split out. |

Probably should split it. |

ベット is from the German word for bed (Bett). We and various refs mention it or have and entry for it (gg5, daijirin, smk).
I think we can drop the [ik] tag.
