Comments: | It is a coordinating conjunction between two predicative elements, the usual "and" 中止法 of a 連用形. Now, it is true that it is not the same as [1], which is a subordinating conjunction, yet has the same tag. This is more so a consequence of the tag itself than anything else. It is just 'conjunction', and it is found both in coordinating and subordinating conjunctions across the corpus as follows: Coordinating: 又、けれども、或いは、と(Noun coordinator)、でも... Subordinating: なら、たら、と(Predicate subordinator)、ないで... |

Comments: | Not sure sense 2 really is "conj". |

Comments: | Changed [aux-v] to [aux] to be in accordance with べし, though I think [aux-adj] may be clearer as this does not have the [adj-shiku] tag to indicate what word category it belongs to. Replacing the [suf] with the [conj] tag for [2] as I am not sure as to why the former was there nor why the latter was not. |
