そんな中、ロンドンの街に石台に刺さった一本の剣が出現する。

In the wikipedia article the "Sword in the Stone" is depicted stuck in an anvil (and that's how it appears in the movie as well). However I don't understand the kokugo definitions well enough to say whether this should be glossed as "anvil" or not.
