I suggest discussing it with the Tatoeba team via their website, their email, or their XMPP chatroom.
We don't want to clutter the comment history of this entry with unrelated discussions. Please address further comments on this topic (that are unrelated directly to ケタケタ) to the jmdict mailing list or github issues forum. |

I don't think it forbids them. The rules just say to don't use machine translated sentences.
The ones produced by AI chatbots are not translated, and they are pretty natural and certainly grammatically correct. |

I don't believe Tatoeba accepts machine generated sentences.
For non-native speakers, ideally a new sentence contribution should be sourced from a text in the public domain. |

Shinsen kokugo is the only one that emphasizes disparagement.
I think this kind of secondary information is better conveyed through the example sentences. Unfortunately I don't see any sentences with this word on Tatoeba. Maybe if someone can find a good one from a public domain source like Aozora Bunko, we can add it and index it. |

We typically use "oft." to mean "the majority of the time" and I'm not seeing enough evidence to support the claim here.
I don't really like "with a shrill voice". "Voice" refers to speaking or singing. |

+ generally kokugos agree that it's sort of a vulgar and inconsiderate laugh
i don't think wildly is esagerate at all (see "突拍子もなく" and "とめどなく") and foolishly doesn't seem appropriate to me
i'm not sure "shrilly" works alone as a gloss here, the point is the ようす/声 of the laugh |

Meikyo's example is about making fun of someone but otherwise I'm not seeing any support for the note in the refs.
I think "wildly" is too strong. |
