Yes, once I'd put it together it troubled me a bit. みて and みたら forms should be more obvious but this one isn't. I'll let it go in as-is. (I wondered about adding 見そ which gets a few hits but they mostly seem to be from 見そなはす, etc.)

I don't this is a good entry. みそ by 
itself, sure, it's irregular, not familiar 
with it but seems worth recording, but -て 
and -たら forms are not the same, the 
meaning can be similar but one is an 
imperative, one is a suggestion.

Here's an attempt to turn it into a more general entry. I'm not sure if the forms have slightly different meanings.
We have a やって見る entry and most of the 113 Tanaka examples for it use やってみて, a few use やってみたら and none use やってみそ.

This is a variant of sense 5 of 見る: (aux-v,v1) (uk) to try ...; to have a go at ...; to give ... a try. 
I guess there might be a case for a みて/みたら/みそ entry to highlight that usage, as it's a bit buried in the 見る entry.
