gakken also has もち (tagged as 〔雅語〕); i didn't notice it because it was entered as 〓望 on that website
how should 雅語 be tagged? i think "arch" is a natural choice because in other dictionaries "archaic" means the language you use to sound old-fashioned. in japanese
it means using yamato kotoba from ancient waka |

among kokugos with frequency info, gakken has only ぼう (tagged 〔文語・文章語〕), and meikyo & smk have only もち (tagged 〔雅〕).
aozora suggests もち is more common than ぼう |
