Comments: | Don't think that requires an extra gloss, to be honest. It's covered by "edition" and "version". |

Comments: | As I commented 3 years ago, GG5 has both はん and ばん on the main (noun) entry, and ばん on its suffix entry, which just points to one of the senses in the main entry. I feel we can safely follow that path too. |

Comments: | Rene, that note comes under the 3rd sense. There's no need to list (or even mention) ぱん because it's merely a rendaku reading. ばん, however, is the only valid reading for 版 (regardless of what comes before it) when used as a suffix in the first sense. Daijr even has an entry for ばん which redirects to はん (版). If I can't convince you to keep it in the list of readings, a note like the one I've written is an acceptable compromise. |
