| Comments: | * Fix definition: not just overstaying, but simply illegal *residence*. (daijr specifies: 不法入国・不法上陸・不法残留 – illegal entry, illegal landing, illegal overstaying) As eijr examples make clear though, in Japan this is overwhelmingly overstaying, hence worth mentioning separately, but not as the main definition. (In conversation with friend, who used to refer to Mexicans in the US, in this case entering illegally (not overstaying).) |
