<upd_detl>When using "Text Glossing", depending on whether there is okurigana in the text or not, the results are different, as follows:
締め切り
Possible inflected verb or adjective: (masu stem)
締め切る : 締め切る(P); 閉め切る; 〆切る; 閉切る; 締切る 【しめきる】 (v5r,vt) to close up; to shut up (e.g. behind doors); to cut off (e.g. because a deadline has expired); (P); ED
締切
締切 : 締め切り(P); 締切り(P); 締切(io)(P); 〆切; 〆切り; image切り(oK); 閉め切り; 閉切り 【しめきり】 (n) (1) (not 閉め切り, etc.) deadline; closing; cut-off; end; (2) (not 閉め切り, etc.) cofferdam; (adj-no,n) (3) (not 〆切, etc.) closed (door, window, etc.); (P); ED
Would it be possible to show both explanations in the case where nouns derrived from (associated with) verbs have their own dictionary entry on account of an established (fixed) meaning?</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>Displaying both is not really an option - it would be a major change as it's geared now to display just the first choice according to various criteria.
For 締め切/etc. I'd prefer to have the regular entry picked instead of the masu-stem, but the code sequencing does the verb-detections before the regular entries, and it would be a super pain to change it.
If I ever get to rewrite that module, I'll try and handle this better.</upd_detl>
