This was done with 圧す and 捺す and in the entry for 押す just yesterday.
クサ seems fairly marginal compared to 草, so I'm not sure what makes this case special.
It would be weird if we wrote "esp. クサ" without having "クサ" displayed in the headwords, so I adjusted the wording to "usu. written as クサ."
If it's going to be visible, I think we can change the note back.</upd_detl>

<upd_detl>The hiding of a form and just having a note is usually when it's usually a less common alternative way of writing that sense. Here a cannabis/marijuana sense would almost always be written クサ. If it's not visible, it should be in its own entry.
