We have an example sentence attached to 封じる that uses this.
I would argue that 動きを封じる, while more common, is a straightforward application of 封じる[2], while the use of 口 is more idiomatic and has more interesting English glosses.
We have many verbal 口を idiomatic expressions, this would be in good company.</upd_detl>
