Looking at reverso, the most-likely-to-be-glossed as "hero" among all of these is 英傑, and we've already made "hero" the second gloss there:
英傑: great person; hero; mastermind; extraordinary person

So, minimally, I think moving "hero" to the second position here is reasonable. It seems like "hero" only applies here in the limited sense that it is a synonym for "a great man". I don't think it would be a loss to drop "hero" entirely on this term, and a number of the related terms(傑人, 人傑, probably 俊傑 ), as it seems more misleading than whatever value it contributes as a potential gloss.</upd_detl>
