<upd_detl>"isolated word" is not in any of the refs except eijiro. If it's referring to isolated words in the context of word recognition, that's always 孤立単語.
A Google search for "isolated language" brings up a whole bunch of results which have nothing to do with isolating languages.</upd_detl>
