<upd_detl>Can you really say "decisive lead" in this meaning?? I'd think a "decisive lead" is an important lead inside an investigation. I changed it to commanding lead as it appears in 英辞郎.

Actually I am not quite sure "uk" to be right. It is often used in Katakana, but it is still quite used in Kanji, as far as I came to see.

I hope my usage of the tag "note" is fine.</upd_detl>

「断トツとは「ずばぬけて」「絶対に」といった意味の『断然』と、「1位」「頂点」といった意味の『トップ』から成る言葉で、2位以下を大きく引き離してのトップ、またはそういった状態にあることを言う。レース（競争）を中心とするスポーツ、売上げ、人気など、順位付け出来るあらゆる事象の中で、2位以下を大きく引き離した様を表して使用する。

<upd_detl>1) please avoid expl glosses when there are perfectly good and widely understood english translations provided.
2) is it really necessary to have two senses here?  there is no difference in meaning between its usage as a noun and its usage as an adjective.  in addition, everything placed in the second sense was an ~adverb~, not an ~adjective~
3) 'decisive lead' is fine
