I took the decision at the time not to add 襲 to the 重ね entry. I now think that was a wrong decision. Rene wanted an additional sense restricted to 襲. I see from the Google ngrams that 重ねの色目 is almost as frequent as 襲の色目, so I'm suggesting making it a note instead of a restriction.</upd_detl>
