<upd_detl>The technical meaning of 真帆 is downwind, and by extension "full sail", but "full sail" is somewhat misleading from a sailing point of view. The "opposite" of 真帆 is 片帆 (close-haul; reach), but even in the case of reaching, the sail can be kept "full".</upd_detl>
