<upd_detl>This gets 220k Google hits. Meaning is clear and reading also. It was in text which I was reading.

You have two similar entries:-
粉々に砕く; 粉粉に砕く 【こなごなにくだく】 (exp,v5k) to smash to pieces
粉々になる; 粉粉になる 【こなごなになる】 (exp,v5r) to break into fragments; to go to pieces
