Well, the EJs suggest about 6 different terms for "shipper" and this isn't one of them. It gets a fraction of the WWW hits for 出荷者. I don't mind dropping the stage but I bet if a student used it they'd be told to use something else.

I don't think rare is appropriate, considering Sagawa uses it. (the quote was from their tracking system)
