      It's a fair point. GG5 has a combined entry for 尖らす and尖らせる (both transitive), and 口を尖らせる gets nearly 10 times as many hits as 口を尖らす.
      I'll think about this, and I'll also add an example using 口を尖らせる.

      I have not altered the above, but I am picking up that the usage is likely to be "口を尖らせる; 口をとがらせる(くちをとがら)" as much as the above. Google search seems to show more hits for causability as opposed to the plain verb. Perhaps the two could be combined in one entry. Or, maybe, one should just accept that the plain verb is the basis. However, if causability is the natural idiom then it is as much the idiom as the plain verb.
