      I don't think it's needed, but it's not a big deal.
In the past, we needed matched tags on both kanji forms and readings to trigger a "P" tag in the edict format. That no longer applies, so it's OK to drop them from the kanji forms in the cases of [uk] entries.

      First of all, could you please remove the [spec1] tag from 為さい?
Second, I disagree with the extra information not being necessary. Having a note like this isn't an outlier, it's pointed out by several references, and in my opinion good-to-know.
