I could go either way with the exp tag. Even ので is technically a combination of の + で, although most people learn it as a single particle like から.

I don't think this needs an [exp] tag, most refs avoid it, だから doesn't have one either.
Though I must concede that it borders on drawing a line in the sand, as for e.g. ものだから, the situation is opposite with most references tagging 連語.
But unless there are objections I would just align with the references.

There is no need to have "indicates an explanation, reason", the glosses are very clear on that.
The third part, however, may be useful to have in a usage note, compare e.g. meikyo: 言い訳がましく理由を示す。…ものだから。

I also don't see what that xref to ので accomplishes, there is no derivational relationship between もので and ので.

もんで is another possible application of reading misc tags, as virtually every reference notes that it is 砕けた言い方
