      I don't think "crescent moon" is right.
      I think one x-ref is sufficient. The kokugos don't mention 半月.
      Brian, in most x-refs, it's not necessary to include both the kanji and the reading. Never use the sequence number on its own when creating an x-ref (e.g. [see=1263090]). Stick to [see=弦月], [see=ありがとう], etc., only using the sequence number to disambiguate (e.g. [see=1255430・月], [see=1605370・やかん]).
