Hmm, I see. I do still think it's better to use that as a separation criterion. But I can say very little else since I have no knowledge of karuta

Someone who happened to find よみて in this context will still get the information necessary from the other entry. Also I don't believe that's what [sk] is usually used for

Only reason I added it was because on googling e.g. 「競技かるた どくしゅ よみて」 there are some results giving both as readings for 読手 in the competitive karuta context, so although I always hear どくしゅ I'm not 100% sure that よみて isn't acceptable. I don't have a strong opinion on what this should mean for the entry - whether よみて should be a normal reading, search-only, or not at all - but hopefully this is useful information at least

That note is odd, can be incorporated into the glosses.

よみて is in the other entry, since those are different as per your reasoning and experience in playing it shouldn't direct to this entry as well. This would blur the line again. The bidirectional xref does the job in that regard
