| Comments: | Not an abbreviation of ござある, simply derived from it. Just as ます from まする is, or される from せられる. No reference supports [abbr] I don't think the xref to ござある is needed anymore, this xref from an archaic to an even more archaic term is just a hint to a (rather obvious) etymology now. An xref to ございます far more appropriate if the sense note persists. |

| Refs: | current {ら・ろ;い;る;る;れ;れ}5 {ら・ろ;り;る;る;れ;れ}5 v4r {ら;り;る;る;れ;れ}4 I don't see a reference without a 五段 tag, apart from refs like 角川古語大辞典 or weblio古語 obviously. |
|
| Comments: | v4r is used for classical verbs lacking the secondary onbin form of the 未然形, as caused by the volitional/hortative auxiliary verb う (<む). Whether the 連用形 is い or り doesn't change the amount of stems present. Also ございます has its own entry in most dictionaries as well as here. ござらむ > ござらう > ござろう |

| Comments: | It's being conjugated as a v4r verb quite often. 御座いました as opposed to 御座りました etc. So v4r should be included. |
