We have a separate entries for 相対する (2437160) and そうたい (1401110). This is the same convention used by all the major Japanese-language dictionaries. |

I suggest adding "vs".
When I asked the teacher in the office next to mine which was the more commonly-used reading for 相対, she said that unless it was used with する she would use the other. |

This is an amendment Rene put in via the old semi-manual system just over 10 years ago, and I somehow overlooked it. See http://nihongo.monash.edu/dicsubs/2009-03/subs2009-03-11.html about 1/5 of the way down the page. He put in the 相対す and 相対する entries at the same time. The reason for having both 相対 and 相対する is explained there. Obviously the meanings of 相対 and 相対する are different. |
