I missed the "W[sK]" addition in the last edit. I don't think it should be here - better to add ダブル as an [sk] reading to the W/ダブリュー entry. For this entry, W only (possibly) applies to sense 1 and its presence is screwing sentence linking. I'll drop it, reopen, and propose ダブル for addition to the ダブリュー entry. |

re: sense 7, I think the note needs to be this long or there's no meaning to having a note mentioning ハーフ at all. I would call this [rare] because nobody actually uses this ;unlike the word ハーフ) |

this was addressed above, but someone has submitted an amendment to W adding the meaning ダブル. is ダブル ever used as a pronunciation of W without meaning "double"? i think W is an ateji here |

There are two existing entries: W/ダブリュー and ダブル. What is raised here is that ダブル is sometimes used for W.
We could either add ダブル as another reading for W, just add it as a note to the W entry, or merge the two entries as they'd share ダブル.
Since the intersection is not the main reading of W, I don't like a merger. I think adding ダブル as a reading to W is best. |

Since I don't know much about merging policy, I'm not sure if it'd be better to add W;w as Kanji here and mark the Meanings [uk], or give W read as "ダブル" a separate entry since it's a fairly slangy way of writing it. I also don't know whether W is used for Sense 2 or not. |
