I see なお often. We have 34 sentences for it. Dated?

Shinsen for the now fourth sense: [猶]〘文章語〙
Sankoku tags it [form] as well, no restriction
GendaiSK gives it a 古風, no restriction
Meikyo also gives it a 古風, and says 「猶〜ごとし」の形で

Adding a note and moving it down
Exchanged the 〜 for ... in the note, as we usually use the tilde to indicate substitution for the term in question
Removed the dots after each gloss, we don't have them for まるで or あたかも either

Kokugos gloss the fourth sense as e.g. “まるで” “あたかも”
  Comments:
Do we ever have [form, dated]? If so I think it'd be appropriate here

daijr, daijs and nikk record neither spelling with okurigana, hence ik
