Daijr, GG5 (both mention ほかの物/ほかのもの in their glosses of 他物.) GG5 uses 他の物 in several examples. ほかの物 is in lots of Eijiro entries. |

All the Japanese to Japanese dictionaries do not have entires
for tanomono. Examples also seem to suggest that the reading
of "ta" is due it being included as part of previous
constructions. For example in その他の物, it is because [その
他]の物 is read as sonota no mono. |
