| Refs: | "We usually don't add cross references from archaic senses to modern terms" ⇒I was inspired by the 見ゆ/見える pair since it's basically the same situation, I think. But I won't do it then from now on. |

| Comments: | "The note "as (お) + masu stem + きこゆ" on the final sense here is incorrect" ⇒I misunderstood the dictionary explanation, thanks for pointing it out I've started reading through the issues on github, thanks for that. I'll try to keep the things discussed there in mind, in the future. |

| Refs: | Robin's proposal on github included archaic terms recorded in JEs and smaller kokugos. I think that's very reasonable. https://github.com/JMdictProject/JMdictIssues/issues/140#issuecomment-2362826820 This word is in shinmeikai and shinsen (Shogakukan's small kokugo), so I see that as a signal that this word is still relevant in modern Japanese. We usually don't add cross references from archaic senses to modern terms. Without more detailed references for the usages of this word, I don't think we need to copy all the senses from our 聞こえる entry. The kokugos just say "きこえるに同じ" for that sense. The note "as (お) + masu stem + きこゆ" on the final sense here is incorrect. Shinmeikai says it is "「動詞連用形+━」の形." Daijirin's example is "思ひ━・えむ." |

| Comments: | I don't mind adding this, but I know there is some resistance to adding archaic kokugo-only terms. |

| Comments: | Is the 5th sense okay this way? First time doing that. Or is this even fine in general? |
