I agree. Better separate with an xref. |

I think this form is a bit too quirky to be included as a note on the 神 entry. |

I think there should be a note to explain the weird orthography. |

OK, I have set this up as a merge with 1364440. If that goes ahead, this has to be deleted. |

I think "ネ申" is probably a lot less common than "神" though
(for once, it takes longer to type up), so I don't think it
fails the 2/3 rule? The reading is the same, the more common
kanji is the same, but the meaning is not.
For example:
"神リアクション" 928 (b)
"ネ申リアクション" 17 (b)
"リアクションが神" 101 (b)
"リアクションがネ申" 5 (b) |

Hmmm. Thanks to AKB48 it gets 9M+ hits, so it should keep headword status. That hatena ref says "つまり神、いわゆるゴッドということ". Isn't saying it's "God!" rather than "god"?
Perhaps this should be kept, and the sense removed from 1364440? That's really failing 2/3. |

should this be merged with 1364440/deleted? The usage isn't
really "god" but "incredible," and that's already covered by a
"also written as..." note. |
