Shortening the queue. I still think it's a bit specific. |

Minor correction of previous comment, it is 11 terms with a copula versus 4 omissions. |

Out of the 15 most common terms starting with もう無理, 10 include either the copula or an inflection of it (those with an *) and the remaining 5 are a result of copula omission. I do not see how adding the copula would be overly compositional, it is 1-2 added characters.
Now, apologies for the lack of the percentage values, I do not know how to display them if there is a setting to do so, and was wary of calculating them manually as I do not know how the N-gram parses the results. For example: are もう無理's 237578 results not including substrings pulled from もう無理だ and the others? If so, should 237578 not be treated as 100% with the 71953 of もう無理だ and もう無理です accounting for ~30.3% of the total rather than ~23.2%?
Whichever the case, N-gram count of もう無理 in a vacuum might not be the best compass, as I imagine it will draw a substantial number of results from phrases that are not the set expression from もう無理だ. |

I really don't see the benefit. I would have suggested rejection if either -だ or -です had been submitted. They are both overly compositional. |

もう無理だ・です Is the complete form, I think that alone is a strong argument for the entry's conversion.
Other potential benefits would be that it makes it even clearer that もう無理 is not a もう+無理 compound to be found in other clauses, and makes it clearer what the phrase is literally saying to come to mean what it does.
As for もう無理, a note could be added saying that the copula is often dropped, it could be added to readings alongside もう無理だ or it could be made into its own entry with a cross-reference to もう無理だ - alternatively, this could just be made into もう無理だ・です without any further changes since copula omission is very common in Japanese and is not limited to this expression. |

OK. I really wonder if the もう無理だ (and もう無理です?) approach wouldn't have been better.
I'll approve to shorten the queue and keep it open a bit longer. |

もう無理がきかない is 無理がきかない with もう rather than もう無理 + きかない
Indeed, we should not try to give a translation for every possible substring, but idiomatic expressions/interjections are fair game for inclusion in my book, and this is, I suppose, an idiomatic interjection with only a single meaning |

We have plenty of entries for expressions/interjections like this. I'm not opposed to its inclusion. I think it's kind of similar to an exasperated "oh my god...!" I think tagging it as [int] rather than [exp] makes it more clear this entry is ittelevant when the two words appear in clauses. |

It is not もう+むり, もう無理 is not a compound. It is an incomplete clause as もう does not add to 無理, it adds to the predicate. This is observable in もう無理がきかない where we can move もう to lend us 無理がもうきかない, and in cases where もう無理だ has a subject or topic that can come in between もう and 無理だ, もう◯は無理だ.
The entry could work so long as it is made into もう無理だ, it is a fairly common clause that means roughly "Now/Again impossible/unreasonable/illogical", translating to "No longer possible" or something similar in most instances.
Apologies for the fork - it was my mistake. |

Possible glosses for most meanings of 無理. I don't think this works without considerable expansion. |

It's もう + 無理 and can have fairly broad application. Not sure this works as an entry here. |
