It doesn't have a reading. 々 doesn't either but we fudge it by saying it's のま (The JIS213 standard adds くりかえし and おなじ to these pseudo-readings.) Perhaps we should make an entry for 〻 and say it's read のま or おなじ. It's treated as a kanji and we need some sort of reading. |

〻 is not read にのじてん, the same way 々 is not read どうのじてん and isn't in the 同の字点 entry; it's the *name* of the symbol. I'm suggesting it as a note here, but maybe it should be in its own entry, as we do with 々. (See the comments on entry 1000060 for an extended discussion how these repetition marks are handled. |
