As suggested by the unusual kanji, this is from Chinese,
a fact made clear from writing it Chinese-style and
searching.
(Also from asking your Chinese and Japanese friends and
seeing that the Chinese ones know it.)
However, it is generally written in hiragana
(ワワ菜 and ワワサイ are extremely rare). |
