ブール型 does get many more hits than ブーリアン型 (44k vs 7k),
and is also in daijs. |

This is a bit odd. Most "Boolean" things in Japanese are ブールXXX, e.g. ブール演算子, ブール代数, etc. None of my JE or JJ refs have "ブーリアン", and only the EJ 英和コンピューター用語辞典 mentions it in a gloss.
We have an entry already for ブール式 which both Eijiro and the Denshi jiten gloss as "Boolean expression". The Wiki page referenced here suggests it is "Logical datatype", which I think is better, but it seems it means both.
I'll come back to this. |
