If it's one or the other of [ok] and [ik] then I suppose calling it [ok] amounts to giving it the benefit of the doubt? In a sense you could say that all [ok] are (now) [ik] anyway.

meikyo says しょうやきょく is [ik], daijirin seems to imply [ok], daijisen says nothing, and kojien doesn't have it
