Saw a 20-ish guy waiting at the hospital payment counter, and when he was called up I heard that his first name was "Karin". Curious about how a guy would write that somewhat female sounding name, I had a good look at the paper in his hand: the two kanji of his name are, in fact, usually used with female names, and this name does also appear on websites as a female name, for example at the sites shown in the reference. BUt, anyway, diversity reigns...</upd_detl>
